Walkable City

The city of Pontevedra in Spain has created a metro-like map that visualizes the distances and travel times between key places on foot at an average walking speed.

For me, as a frequent walker, this is a very good idea. In Oslo many people think it's simply too far to walk from key places inside ring 2. It isn't. I walk nearly everywhere, even to and from work in the Summer time (walking uphill on icy pavements is a challenge in Norway).
