We're getting married 19 July 2014. The ceremony will be at Sandar kirke, Sandefjord, at 14:15. Afterwards there will be festivities for invited guests in the garden at Koddalveien 47.
Sandefjord is a coastal hamlet in Vestfold, about 1 hour 45 minutes south of Oslo. It used to be known for whale hunting, reflected in its coat of arms featuring a whale and a viking ship. Today it's a popular seaside holiday retreat that features a beautiful archipelago at its doorstep.
To get there from Oslo the most convenient method of transport is the train from Oslo S (Oslo Central Station). If you're flying in, Norwegian has flights directly to the local airport, Torp Sandefjord Airport (TRF). Alternatively you can go to Oslo Gardermoen (OSL) and then by train.
Sandar kirke (the church) is centrally situated in Sandefjord, in walking distance of all the hotels. After the ceremony in the church we will likely provide bus transport to Koddalveien, where the festivities will commence.
Alas we're unable to provide transport back to Sandefjord when you feel like retiring, but we recommend ordering taxis.
Sandefjord features hotels of varying quality:
